Air in rads

It worked, but the installation was a real lash up from the start. Wrong size rads fitted in places and they never attempted to ballance. Apart from this strange noise it now works very well indeed, much better and loads more efficient when the installers left.

What about my theaory on the flux?

An update on the situation, , the installers had major problems soldering the joints as they never had the right equipment to drain the system properly and tried to solder while water was dripping into the joints from inside. .
Yes, but were they Gas Safe :?:
 
The original installers were gas safe, the guys that came back to change the rads were sub contracted by the original company, not sure if they were but they did not do any gas work.

Anybody have a comment about the flux, the noise almost stops once the system comes up to temp. Just to remind you it,s like a frying sound!
