Is there a way of installing a valve to the top of a rad to allow a hose to be fitted then flush out the radiator so as to remove any air lock?
the air bleed nipple thing is not very quick and with a big air lock will take ages. The rad is farthest from the boiler and is not getting hot at all no matter what i do.
Thanks in advance

Yes. It's not very pretty but you can remove the whole fitting which contains the bleed screw, replace it with a 1/2" BSP male threaded drain valve. That will have the nozzle to attach your hose to.
Make sure you use some PTFE around the thread to seal it properly.
