air lock?

hi i live in flat, had combi boiler fitted, no hot water coming through to kitchen unless you put hot water tap on in the bathroom, which is next door to kitchen?

What combi is it? Some need a certain flow through them to trigger flow switch to turn on hot water side. May be blockage in kitchen tap or pipe work. Checked hot tap washer?
