Airbrick and damp, 1890s house

I have found that the cavity is full though, so I’ve removed a few bricks and currently clearing that out.

That should at least reduce internal damp, and allow ventilation, and possibly draining, of the cavity.

I've found it useful to clean out a cavity by raking, and using a metal extension tube on a builders canister vac.
