Help
Have a 1 month old combi boiler, after having 2 rads off have caused an airlock or blockage in circulation, have bleed boilers, taken off cold rads (worked for a short while then back to square one so assume airlock moved and was not expelled), have replaced one radiator. Have luke warm rads upstairs and no heating downstairs. Help, any suggestions.

Hi, yes system pressure has been topped up (have hot water) is definately a blockage in the rad/pipe circuit - Thanks for your response :)

Assuming system was flushed prior to installation of the new boiler it is unlikely to be a blockage. I'd try turning all but one rad off, see if this gets hot. If it does, turn it off again, open another, work your way round. Let the boiler put its full output into one rad at a time, it might be enough to shift the problem.

Well? was it flushed? how long did the installer spend doing the flushing?

what reading does the pressure guage show?

What happened when you tried Hugh's suggestion?

what is the reason you have not called the installer back?

1. Very unlikely to be an airlock
2. Why were the rads taken off?
3. Did the system work perfectly after it was installed?
4. What does it say on the benchmark sheet under: "flow and return temperature"?
