Alan Whicker Dies Suddenly!

Well I really hope not!!

But he is getting quite old now, hopefully he will reach a ridiculous age.
As I find the man brilliant at what he does and worthy of a knighthood.
What I would have done for his journey through life and the places he has travelled to??
He interviews but lets the subject talk (unlike J.Ross etc). He is courteous but funny.

Top marks to Alan and the new series! :D

Shuks...I feel a bit Gay now, saying nice things about people in here....!

I won't do it again, promise!

It's OK Mike - we're a broad-minded lot in here.

I do agree that he has a great turn of phrase that no-one else seems to have these days. Old school I guess.

Hey, I just wanted some "up-beat" threads on the forum. Instead of the constant gloomy outlook!
Yes, he's middle class/privileged and had a better life than most of us. But still a decent bloke as TV bods go.

By the number of views though, people are keen to see another dead celebrity?? ;)

You wanted some 'up-beat threads' so you make a post with a title of:

'Alan Whicker Dies Suddenly!'

Instead of the attempt at irony why don't YOU post some 'up-beat' threads if that's what you want to see?
