Alarm Grading

Hi all,

a quick question on grading.

if an alarm use a grade 1 door contact for final exit/entry and is covered by a grade 2 PIR on entry route.

Is the system grade 1 or grade 2?

Please advise

Grade 1. Any system is graded at the grade of its lowest system component.

Iam aware that you can have mixed graded alarm systems,
can you advise on how mixed grading of alarm systems work?
