I want to do a good deed but don’t want it to go horribly wrong. I was hoping to get some advice from you guys please.
Background - I’ve installed a Texecom Premier Elite system in my house. This has the following: PIR sensors, 2 keypads, internal sounders, external strobe, magnetic door sensor, relay for smoke alarms, panic alarms, dialler. I am familiar with this setup and did it all myself.
Can I use the same system and approach for this community centre? It’s two floors and larger than my house but not enormous. It had a few entry\exit points which I guess means more keypads.
Is the Texecom system robust and reliable for this type of environment?
Also, for budgetary reasons, I may have to do the cabling now and fit devices, etc at a later date. If we decided to go for a different brand, does the cabling method still work I.e cable running from every device back to the control panel?
I’d appreciate any other advice you can offer. Thanks in advance.
