    Hi all,
I had a company install a wired texecom elite alarm for us, but I'd now like to add a wireless sensor to the system. I believe I should be able to add this to the system I have, but when I follow the steps to do so, I get a message saying "all devices learnt".
I'm wondering is there some wireless component I need to add to the system in order to work with a wireless PIR, or is there anything else I could try?
The system I currently have is
Texecom Connect SmartCom Ethernet & Wifi Communicator
    Texecom Ricochet Premier Elite 64-W
    Texecom Ricochet LCDLP-W Wireless Keypad
    thanks
    J

A 64W is capable out of the box of 32 Wireless zones.

It is unlikely even with a wireless bell and a wireless keypad as well as detection devices that the current system total is 32 wireless devices.

What process are you following to learn the devices on?

Thanks very much for your reply. I have just double checked and realised it’s actually a 24 polycab.
I have 11 sensors, two panels so I doubt I could have used up all the slots though. My process is engineers code, then omit, then yes when it says learn ricochet.
    thanks

    so all wireless?

the 24 can have 24 zones, 8 on the panel (hardwired) and 16 other zones.

so the question is how many hard wired and how many wireless.

if you have 2 wireless 8 zone expanders what are the addresses on them?

It has what I assume to be the Texecom Connect SmartCom Ethernet & Wifi Communicator. Does that count?

No....that’s WiFi ! The sensors work on 868mhz and need a radio expander
