Hi I have been asked to fit an alarm system to a small shop did not want to let this guy down as he is a mate so I said ok was going to get one from TLC but it only comes with user/ operating instructions, no install guide can anyone suggest an alterative source

I have used ADE (now Honeywell) gear and it is good stuff. I have also used Texecom also good.

Both have good installation instructions. If the one you have does not, then take it back. Unless you got it second hand...

As it is a comm install, are you sure his insurance company don't want a pro-install?

securespark, the one I have in mind is a honeywell TSpro1 although this might be a stock number with a optima compact G4 panel does this sound familiar to you. and I have just seen a ADE accentia mini 8 ??
This a seasonal shop of timber construct insurance wont look at it

As I remember, all the current Honeywell panels of ADE origin can only accept a maximum 1.2Ah battery. You'd need to do the calcs to see if this is capable of running the system for at least 8 hours without mains.

Also, I wouldn't use Sonade sounder, if that's part of it. They are power-hungry.

Flashguard XL+ are superior, or Texecom's Odyssey.

Don't use bog standard passives either. Dual tech or Quads as a minimum.

Personally, I have used Pyronix EC115DT or Texecom Mirage ProQuad in the past.

Securespark can you suggest a supplier I have had a google but to be honest I am tending towards an all in kit but thats propbably not the best way
