Hi Team,

Just a quickie, trying to find an installer for Alpha Boilers.

I have a CD35C with RF 7day Stat installed.
I have just replaced with Hive and was pondering to cut the wires terminals off to connector block in or does the original clock blanking plate have a connectors to join the wires?

Can you advise on how they come from factory and how best to wire in external timers?

Thanks mucho

No need to cut things off! These have a mains input connector block which you will be able to connect the hive to.

Live on Hive to terminal L in Alpha
Neutral on Hive to terminal N in Alpha
Common (Terminal 1) on Hive to Terminal 2 in Aapha
Heating on (terminal 3) on Hive to terminal 1 in Alpha

If this has an existing built in time clock it needs to be set to always on.

Is your RF 7 day stat an external control? If it is an external control the Hive will replace the RF stats receiver.

Some photos would clarify things if you can post some of the Alpha wiring and the RF stat wiring.
