I have recently replaced the diaphragm in an Alpha CB24 diverter valve and have regained the dhw that was not working but now have no ch flow. I think i may have put the large spring on the wrong side of the diaphragm when i rebuilt it, would that give me this problem or does anyone have any other suggestions please?

How have you rebuilt the diaphragm?

Should be:

Diaphragm 1st with small spring and spindle facing out

2nd the larger spring

Then the front brass section.

Thanks for the speedy response. I think i have put the larger spring on the side that is closest to the diverter. not on the dhw side. this would be pushing the diaphragm towards the dhw side if you get me.
