I have read the very helpful sticky provided by Matty (& comments from others) ..thanks for that. However, still feel need to ask a question:
I am laying 6mm exterior grade ply over an existing floor to get a better finish for polyflor or similar heavy-duty vinyl to be fitted on top. Is there a cheaper alternative to finishing off the few joints (totalling only about 8m. that will be visible /covered with vinyl) than using Fball Stopgap 500 Micro or 700 Flex.
I can only seem to find 12kg bags/tubs costing well over £30. I don't want to spoil the job by going for a more economical solution but are there any alternatives e.g other types of caulk or even tapes?
thanks for reading.
