Hi

Currently I have my main phone socket with various splitters and microfilters which gives me my phone line, alarm phone line, plus 3 broadband cables to PS3, router and Sky.

It all works a treat, but it looks like an modern art Lego installation, and the protrusion on the wall is now a regular target for my child's feet.

Short of boxing it all in, could you recommend any alternatives to this behemoth contraption. As a layman I'd assumed there might be a 'multi-output' alternative faceplate or box I could install rather than daisy-chaining them, but my research has turned up nothing.

Any informed advice would be brilliant, please.

Thanks fellas.

Andy

If you have an NTE 5 master socket with a single phone socket then replace the front part with a filter front plate. This will give you a phone socket and a ADSL ( broadband ) socket. On the back of the new front plate will be two sets of terminals. One set will be for cable to sockets for telephone service and the other will be for cable to sockets for ADSL equipment.

ADSL-NTEFACE-SOL from www.solwise.com is one of many suitable front plates

Click on ADSL Filters and Splitters in menu on the left hand side.
