Just installed a TecTura bifold door, but having problems with the glazing bead, they will just not fit.

Each bead has a rubber wedge and there just seems no room for them.

The installation guide says 'Finally clip bead into position' but i feel if i put anymore pressure, the glass will shatter.

Does anyone know a knack for getting these beads on.

cheers Dave

Hy,
it depends, may be the glazing too big for the bead

Can you post a picture?

Is the gasket already attached to the bead. Normally you clip the bead in then push the gasket in after. Use soapy water and wedge a glazing packer between the bead and glass as you go.

They can be a **** to get in but once started should go okay. Make sure the glass is all the way back and not caught on a packer

That worked a treat mate cheers. Like you said, once you get started it flew in.

Much appreciated God
