A novel approach to a ring circuit.
From the consumer unit a pair of 2.5 T&E go side by side under the plaster round two walls of the lounge to a boxed in cavity on the wall of the hall. In this cavity there are 11 round junction boxes side by side and the ring goes from JB 1 to JB 8. Spurs come out of each JB to feed sockets around the house. JBs 9 to 11 are involved in cooker feed and lighting.
I will try and get a photo later.
This was found when a drill making a hole for a curtain rod hit the cooker cable in the plaster just above the lounge window and a call for urgent help was made.
