From what I read on his promise on this was that he failed miserably trying to do it and cut people living rough. A lot of people who sleep rough on the streets actually choose to do it

People don’t choose to be homeless as the cost and availability of housing get worse.

People aren't typically homeless due to the lack of accommodation. There are other dimensions. The local council have a duty to help anyone who has or is at risk of becoming homeless.

Went through Manch city centre 10 days ago. Was a hell-hole, filth and graffiti everywhere. No aircon working on the trams or trains, or in the Airport tunnel to the station. Hardly a world class destination, embarrasing that Burham wants to invite Trump there
