Andy is starting on a high with me.

And this is why we're not going to get anywhere substantial in this country. Structural issues don't need sticking plasters.

Cross-bench agreements could see ten-year plans being viable but, with the parties being ideologically opposed on so many matters, such agreements are likely to be the exception.
More fundamentally, politics today focuses on what divides or promotes hate. Things that be should non partisan like the NHS get relegated because people think asylum seekers are about to take over the country.

Andy is ditching the digital ID
I doubt it. If they're keeping age restrictions on websites then that essentially is digital ID without the name.

This website among countless others may be forced to require us to prove our ages with our ID in the near future. If you don't want to send a photo of your passport to the unknown webmasters, possibly in a foreign country then I'm sure there will be some sort of ID system set up. All for our protection of course.

If Labour say it's sunny then get your umbrella. They lie all the time, don't get taken in by them.

Burnham also announced his 10 year plan.

There is nothing more arrogant than a politician outlining a plan that is 70% beyond his remit.
Labour and other communists have a track record of cancelling electionsm usually by giving dodgy excuses.

Don't count on anything you thought was certain. We're in new territory now.

HS2 is the private sector ripping off the state. Far-rage’s experience as a metals trader doesn’t prepare him for politics any more than being a trade unionist does. Politics born. Borris said **** business for a reason
Rubbish. HS2 is communism. In the Victorian times, when almost all of today's lines (and many since closed) were built, the trains were all built privately, the government didn't spend a penny. They published details, people bought shares, they built the lines with shareholders' money and paid them the profits. There were several companies, often passengers could choose between them for the same journey and they were forced to run efficiently to keep prices down and stay in business.

David Lammy sacked.

Can't say I'll miss the smug face.

Peter Kyle also sacked.

Rachel Reeves out as Chancellor, suggestion she was offered alternative role but declined. She'll be on back benches or early suggestions she might leave altogether.

Another loser PM, He is setting out a 10 year plan, he will be lucky to see 12 months. His plan is to tell us where we are now (as if we didn't know) and where he thinks we would all like to be in 10 years time, well forgive me but any of us on here could do that, what he isn't saying is how the hell is he going to achieve this. Because in 10 years time I would like to be sat in the Bahamas sipping on a Vodka and orange laced with ice and surrounded by greyhounds and whippets whilst looking at my portfolio of investments on my phone.

In his speach outside number 10 he said it's time to change politics to do more problem solving not point scoring.
Pretty sure that is what Starmer said, but still lapsed into the same routine. Doubt Andy will be any different.
