Apologies Justin. I realise that a man of your calibre wants loads of details but NO, no details today from me, I'll just shout the big points loudly. Listen to this one...I know someone who works at Manchester Grammar, he says that nearly every pupil there is either Chinese or Asian (Asian being the Tony Blair for Indian or Pakistani). This is so remarkable that when Chinese parents first clap eyes on the place they are surprised, having thought they were sending their offspring to a traditional British school. And another thing for you: those 18 people brought from Gaza to live here...they will be a drain on the taxpayer FOR EVER. Extrapolate that situation for every economic migrant who brings multiple family members with him, and has brought with him since Blair - and keep it in mind for when the government of the day say they can't afford to pay pensions. Only a few % compared with UK births, same period ~650000. Births & schooling are far more expensive of course.
So your freeloaders are largely dependants of people whom the country needs.
Dependants of asylum seekers are in the low tens of thousands, new refugee dependant applications have been stopped.
So if those are your "big points" you want to shout about, if they were all zero it wouldn't make much difference to anything.
We WOULD have more shortages in social care, and the NHS, at nurse and Doctor levels.

Your UTTERLY irrelevant stuff about Manchester Grammar is not news to any of us. Who do you think doesn't know? It has LONG been the case that the better schools attract the better quality students, which are disproportionately represented by students from the Indian Subcontinent and the Far East. Their parents generally have higher standards and more expectation of their kids. I've seen this for a long time from my minor interactions with local schooling and teachers I know.
So within your ramblings and low quality populist rhetoric, where IS the sense?

You use the word "needs" in future tense; Britain doesn't need extra people and never did. We already had lots of people before Tony Blair was PM.

Just observing Just Passings response to you Spline, it's the usual head in the sand 'la la la' refusal to acknowledge response, it is relevant and it is on topic yet, there is part of them that just will not listen or comprehend.
We have friends here just like that, perfectly normal in most ways, and what is ironic, they live this idealistic british lifestyle remote from busy towns rapidly changing... i discussed topics with them like above, they are uncomfortable discussing it , like telling minors Father Xmas isn't actually real, they would rather not know or comprehend.

I have high hopes but expect them, as usual, to be dashed. The education system needs total reform, and we have too many people in the country for the amount of space we have. We need a stop to anyone coming here illegally, physically rounded up and dropped back to france. We need our farmers and farmland protected. We need to stop shoddy new builds from being built on greenspace and brownspace, but instead class all housing as a essential infrastructure. If that means banning all second homes and buy-to-let then so be it. Housing should no longer be used by the affluent to make more money at the expense of renters' savings.
All of their (Labour, but others as well) ideas about being for the many, is all tripe. They all want more houses so that there are more taxes, more rental incomes for their mates, more money made through legislation etc. But they forget that if farming is crushed and we all import cabbages, like the good vegans we should be, then we are soley reliant on other countries to feed us. This is already happening with utilities and look how that's turned out. No value for money
I hope he brings radical reform but, no, he will just be a spineless yes man with no clue about life, like the last 5 have been. We need someone like Martin Lewis to run the country; not a politician, but someone who has worked up their own business and knows what it's like to have bills to pay, kids to feed, school runs to do etc etc

The last comedian Europe elected is doing a good job in difficult circumstances in Ukrane. Let the comedian beat the buffoon. If not there’ll be a second by election plus of course the criminal investigation, so possibly a third.
