I have two independant lights running from one 2 gang switch. There are two seperate 2 core cables coming into the switch. Both have a live feed. When trying to attach one live to one common and L1 switch live, one light works. When attaching the other live to the other common and L1 switch live I can switch one light on/off but when switching the other light on, both lights come on only both a little dimmer.
