We have a outbuilding with a toilet and what like like it an old coal shed next to it. I want to demolish I wall of it and extend it to create a laundry room and new WC facilities.

Being of old construction, it is double skin bricks with no cavaity. Can I continue in the same fashion for the rest?

yes you can, but you will have to upgrade the insulation.

an insulated cavity wall is a simple way of introducing insulation into a wall without the fuss of having to fix it to the outer surface of the walls later.
