Hi all,

I'm thinking of taking advantage of the current Toolstation offer for Hive v1. Hoping to install myself, and have done a fair amount of research here and elsewhere. Think I understand what's needed, but wouldn't mind a common sense check first.

My system is a very new Vaillant Combi boiler, so need the heating only Hive. My current programmer is a Center EHE0200361, which I believe is a rebadged Honeywell CM9xx. The relay box at the boiler even has the same model number BDR91 as the Honeywell.

Here's a photo of the relay box...

The Hive wiring needs....

Ive read a few threads for people with the same Thermostat/Relay Box as me and think I need to do the following:

N -> N
L -> L
A -> 1 (Common)
B -> 3 (Heating On)

Does that look about right?

Cheers!

Thanks very much.

All done and working. Took less than half an hour. The most challenging part really was having to hack away a bit at the Hive backplate to make room for the wires!

Thanks again, glad I found this forum, great resource.
