Please help a damsel in distress!

Our Suprima 50 has been displaying fault code for flow thermistor and sometimes this would change to the circulation fault code. It would reset itself after a few seconds and kick back in.

We called out an engineer who checked boiler, tried changing the pump but found no fault in either. He said we needed a powerflush. He was going on holiday so we found someone else to do the powerflush.

Powerflush done but still had the problem. The guy said we need the thermistors changed but wasn't qualified to do it.

We spoke with a heating engineer and he suggested instead of paying out good money after bad, seeing as the original engineer couldn't find a problem, we should call Potterton and get one of their engineers to come out on a no fix no fee bases.

We did this. He changed the thermistors but said the problem is the pump overrun - not something that he does!

This morning the water has heated fine and it has seemed to follow a normal heating pattern. Once it has reached temperature all lights go out- previously the green mains light has stayed on. It does kick in again once the temperature has dropped and needs reheating - without us needing to do anything. It hasn't displayed any fault code but the lack of any lights is something new.

Is this ok or does it still need fixing? To add to the stress, we are due to exchange on our house sale this week and we do not want to leave the new owners with a problem.
