Hi Everyone,

We have a four switch old Crabtree light switch in the hall that controls four lights; two of which are dual switched. I want to replace it with a modern MK switch but am confused by the lack of any clear markings on the Crabtree other than one that seems to be different to the others plus the remaining three have two connectors (the outside two, first and fourth, labelling from LHS in the picture) whilst the third has three connectors (third from LHS in the picture).

The weird one is the second from LHS. I know you guys like a challenge - any ideas how I transfer these over to the new switch? Going from LHS to RHS we have a single switch for hall light set 1, a dual switched switch for hall light set 2, a dual switched landing light switch and finally a single switch for wall lights. Any help, very welcome.

You cant do it the old one has an intermediate switch (i think) the new one doesn't.

What country are you in? Or is it just really old colour wiring and no earth?
