Ants and Sika Fastfix

I've just removed all the old mortar on our patio and replaced it with Sika Fastfix .... it's been over a week and it's fully hardened off but Ants are coming up through little holes in it in various places.

I don't know if I didn't compact it enough or if this would happened regardless. I don't really know what to do next though. I have no leftover fastfix and don't know if would hold anyway to fill small holes here and there.

Very frustrated, anyone got any ideas?

Ant traps.

They get under as damp. Try find where they get food and set more traps or powder
