You may have read my previous post about my Myson TRV not working. Well I took the valve head off, and the pin was fine. Without the head on the radiator heated up nicely.
This leads me to believe the head is broken (especially as a bit of plastic fell out when I took it off!). This is "good news" for me as I think it means I can just replace the head and hence don't have to drain down the system. The valve head I have looks like this one:
But there also seems to be this one:
Other than the price, what is the difference, is it just cosmetic?
And will I just be able to screw on a new head?
Can anyone recommend a place to get them from (i.e. a real shop, rather than on line?)
