Hello, as the topic says, is there any way to do this when a part-used tin is stored away?

Thanks!

What I do is turn the tin upside down for 10 minutes. The paint forms a good seal round the lid. Then I turn it the right way round. Seems to work well.

Never left it upside down though, my wife would turn it the right way anyway.
