Hi..thank you for reply....but are you saying IT IS an Isomax or you think it's an Isomax ?...as the question mark at the end of your reply is a touch confusing....many thanks.

Close, I'd say it's an Isofast, looks like it had the built in clock, as good as being the same though.

Thanks guys...even if there is slight confusion over the difference of what looks like slightly different models....would they both basically have the same kind of set up/controls ?

Yes, download each manual and compare it to the boiler, one of the Isomax/Isofast manuals should cover it.

Thank you for the reply/replies....having now looked into things a bit more I have found that where the black circle/hole (see pic) there should be a clock/dial BUT that has been removed and apparently replaced with a remote control system (again see pics please)....there is nowhere to set interval times to turn on/off central heating and water on the actual boiler (just manual turn on and off) will/does the remote control (see pics again) allow my daughter to programme the heating and water to turn on/off at different times through the day/night ?

She has a combi boiler so it delivers hot water on demand, no programming required.

The central heating will be controlled by the Drayton Digistat. It can be programmed with set on and off times with temperature to control the radiators.

http://www.gasapplianceguide.co.uk/DigistatProgramming.pdf - this one is a Worcester badged digistat but it's basically the same.
