OK - I can get this from Lunns, but at a huge premium, so does anyone know of a cheaper source?

Might have one in the shed as it happens, I could look when it gets lighter   if you ask me nicely.

What taps is off and is it the opal head

Thanks d-i-a.

Sorry to say that I have not one clue what the taps are, but the headwork splines fit the old Shires handle I carry around.

I don't have an image for the handle(s), but "opal" probably describes it - plastic/composite, not metal, and irritatingly hard to turn with slippery hands.

And now the easy bit - pretty please?

I rushed out to the shed with me trusty torch  and found a pair of swan handles with look the same but without the turrett.

The spindle should be the same size 7mm so if you want to send me an address I'll pop them in the post Monday.

The handle are an opal with a brown tinge/fleck.

My customer needs only one, BTW, so I'll Email you now.

May I prostitute myself by saying what a diamond you are?

Not yet. My breath is bated. :)

Posted it monday or should I say the girl in the office should have.

I will ask what happen to it in the morning

You'll have to find a different question to ask your office girl, as the small-but-perfectly-formed package arrived today.

It's immensely good of you to have put yourself out, and I'm really grateful.

The only problem is that the spline adapter is different. Your ones are what I'd call "Armitage Shanks Starlite" spline adapters.

Anyway - let me know how I can repay you for your kindness. Please bear in mind that anything involving my lips and Agile's a*se is not on the table.

I said they were slightly different which is why I posted the handle as well as the smaller spline should fit your spindle.

Anyways they are pre-owed handles and the postage was peanuts so my Compliments.
