Update on my Apollo 50s boiler. When boiler is fired up it stays lit for about half a minute before cutting out and preceded by banging in pipework. I have powerflushed the system, changed pump, completely drained down and re-pressurised system. Banging has been significantly reduced to almost zero but burner still cutting out and pilot also going out. This is my last throw of the dice before calling in the experts!! so any help or advice from you guys would be greatly appreciated

perhaps you might have been better calling in the experts sooner by your description its the pump over run stat thats faulty costs about 20 quid
