Hey guys,

My first post on here so go easy, I am by no means a shower buff!

I just moved into an eleven year old house that has an aqualisa aquastream fitted in one of the bathrooms, I have been googling and think it's an older version as there seems to be no boost button.

The flow from the shower appears to be quite weak, at 6 litres per minute. Temperature range seems fine but flow is constant and poor with no spluttering.

Is this flow rate due to the shower being the older model or is this a problem?

Thanks in advance,

Jay

Does the pump run? If it does I would be checking the inlet filters for a blockage. Also could be an airlock

Well the shower hums for a few minutes when turned on then goes silent?

Sounds like the pumps gone. I suspect the hum is the pump getting power but not moving. Try removing the shower head and put the hose as low as you can and see what happens

Tried that, it seems the same. You reckon the pump is the problem, is there a different pump for older models?

Yes. Go to showerdoc.com and they will identify which model you have and tell you what part you need
