hello
moved to a house, they had aqualisa aquastream, it was working fine until last night; stopped pumping
this morning checked the fuse 3amp, was blown, put the new one in-again -blown, di put 15amp and nothing, fuse ok, but still not pumping
Checked if any power comming to the unit from transformer- no
so I believe transformer packed up, so before getting a replacement transformer need to find cause of it, as I do not want another transformer packing up, there must have been reason for the fuses to be burned, so wether it was transformer or loom or catridge ...?
please note Im not suere when the lat time it was serviced

loom looked rusty,
do I need to replace catridge? can it be cleaned-descalled?
many thanks

Sounds like there was an electrical fault. Sometimes watery appliances have leaks which cause shorts. The 3A fuse blew in a valiant effort to protect the electrics from damage. You changed to a 15A fuse so quite likely the electrical components have now been badly damaged.

Consider saving up for a replacement.
