Afternoon All,

Looking for a bit of advice, today I replaced the Grey cartridge in my 609 as was leaking from the bottom, its done 11 years with no issues. After I replaced this, I have started to get a leak from the black Outlet cap on the top of the body. I took it off and checked it and it looks ok, albeit no o'ring, which I confirmed with Aqualisa who advised there is no O'ring in the cap. But what is causing the leak, could it be a faulty cap?? Or a faulty body?? Any advice?

It doesn't look like anybody replied to this query, but just in case a nudge will garner a reply....
I have said valve and granted it is very old, has been excellent until now. The top outlet is blanked, and the feed to the shower head from the bottom. The top blanking plug appears to have a centre part to it, I was expecting just a blank threaded cap. Anyway this top cap is leaking like a sieve. Can the cap just be replaced, perhaps with a solid blanking cap, and secondly does it have to be an AquaLisa part or can it be a regular brass cap, such as a radiator blanking cap.
Picture has rotated, but the top is to the right, ie viewed from above. I have ordered a one piece cap part number
