Good evening Guys,

I am installing An Aqualisa Quartz Digital pumped shower and am hoping that you could advise me on positioning and water feeds.

1) Is there any downside to installing the pump unit under the bath instead of in the loft?

2) If installation under the bath is acceptable, then is it ok to provide the hot and cold feeds tee'd from the supply pipes for the bath filler?

Provision can be made for all electrical connections to be made outside of the bathroom via an FCU on the landing and bath panel is to be tiled with screwed inspection panel providing access.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Kind regards
Mark

Hi,

Thanks for the reply, what is the reason for needing a dedicated supply as opposed to sharing the the gravity supply already in place for the bath filler?

thanks in advance once again.

I assume its because the pump has some serious suction behind it. Therefore if you T off the bath pipes and happened to open the bath taps while the shower was on it would just suck in air through the open bath taps.

That could be a load of rubbish though! :)

Thanks for the reply, I will give Aqualisa a bell in the morning and double check with them.

appreciate the information, have a good evening.
