Ok so it’s older property with no DPM,

flooring is oak 90mm wide Elka,

parts of the floor, need a little repair before the DPM 1C, so thinking K301..

this is the choice I’ve come to,

scenario 1,

primer the repaired areas with Ardex P51,
Apply K301 to areas that need attention,

make sure no primer is visible apply ,DPM 1C,

Use Ardex R3E, sand bind

Apply k11 or K15

scenario 2,

primer the repaired areas with Ardex P51,
Apply K301 to areas that need attention,

make sure no primer is visible apply ,DPM 1C,

apply Ardex P82 primer,

then Ardex K11 or K15

What one would you do ? Is there a lot of cost difference?

thanks people,

Yea we have done it that way for years. Most times we prime the Dpm with p4 and then screed. But for glued down wood we sand blind as it will have movement. I take it you are gluing it down.
