I've just replaced an old window with a new upvc window. The profile of the window doesn't allow the straps to be fully rotated to 90 degrees as the profile channel it narrower than the strap fingers that stick out.
Is this ok to leave it like this, or do I need to find some other straps that fit the profile of the window? I haven't seal around the outside of the window yet so changing the straps should be relatively simple.
