Are these radiators the same?

Are the two radiators in the links effectively the same? From the pictures they look identical. The only difference seems to be that the more expensive one has a slightly higher stated BTU output.

The Lux Heat link just takes you to the options window. You need to select 1800mm x 350mm to see the equivalent model to the Faro.

They certainly look very similar, though there may be a little difference in the size (area) of the actual columns and therefore a slightly higher water content hence the difference in output. Though a lot of the manufacturers of these types of designer rads (which there are far too many IMO) seem to use very different methods to calculate their outputs

Please note though, in my experience, comparing the output of these types of tubular rads should not be compared to the output of normal convecting rads when it comes to space heating. I have found that they work quite differently as to how efficiently they heat a given space, especially larger spaces with higher ceilings but that's a whole other discussion that garners many different opinions on here.

Thanks for that. I was wondering, whether like many other products, they are made by one anonymous company but then badged by whoever is selling them. Fitting one of these was not something I was planning. However, we are trying to sell our house and a common feedback comment has been lack of worktop space/breakfast bar in the kitchen. I can fit one but there is a conventional radiator in the way. I can accommodate a vertical rad in a different position though. This will be a reasonably quick fix I hope.

Could be but they could also just be very similar, there aren't too many different designs out there.

This is the argument my wife has been making and I am coming round to her way of thinking. However, looking ahead, if we don't sell this time round, we are going to remodel the kitchen anyway and I will still be moving the radiator as planned.
