Anyone here in Telford?!?!
I've bought a Screwfix CC kit, and a 1.5/2in flush valve (Fluidmaster), and a 2in flapper (also fluidmaster), to replace the currently knackered drop valve in my loo (pacific single flush). No idea which one will be needed, so got both.
I'm getting quotes of £45-55 to fit, which is fine...but the 3 guys I've spoken to about it are very "um, err..", and don't sound overly keen/confident about working on the unit!
Now, I'd be game for doing it myself, but my disability means I have co-ordination/balance/upper body issues, and knowing me I'd drop the ruddy cistern...
I'd almost be tempted to buy this:
http://www.shop.lunns.net/pacific-2...existing-basket-1290-p.asp?uid=19339501114912
at that daft price, just so I can use the bloody loo, and don't have to worry about it leaking, rather than having people in who'll split it but be that lacking in confidence about it working fine after.
All we bloody need with a newborn imminent. Any ideas, or recommendations out there? Would that Lunns unit I linked to cure the current "continually running" issue? Is it even a good plan? Argh!
Cheers all...
