Ariston 27 Combi Boiler not working

The low water level led is illuminated. I have topped up the water pressure to nearly 2 bar and switching off the boiler and then on again still does not work.

Presumably a switch is preventing the water pressure being registered, if so can I over-ride it to at least get the boiler working temporarily until after the weekend?

You will probably need to press a reset button on the boiler.

The re-set button is only for ignition or over-heating shutdown. Thanks anyway.

If the boiler is well sludged up then the LP switch can take hours to respond to the increased water pressure.

Obviously the answer is to check the boiler pressure regularly and toping it up when required!

The boiler is now fixed. The pump was very stiff which has now been freed up. I guess I will have to change it eventually.
