gas of couple of days for new fire installation now cant switch boiler on . red led keeos coming on instead of green,there doesn,t appear to be a pilot light.my guess would be air in the system but other gas appliances working.does anyone know how to bleed the gas or is there something else i have to do to light the pilot.

I expect you are right that there is air in the pipe. I could do something to purge it but you are not qualified to do that.
If you keep resetting the boiler then it should relight eventually.
Depending on whom turned off the gas and why, you may need to check that the gas valve under the combi has not been turned off too. The little line on the valve should be in line with the pipework when its on.
