Ariston LS603 Shorting fuse - Help??

Help!
Dishwasher is having a tantrum on a Friday night.
It works fine up until it moves onto Cycle 6 then shorts the mains fuse.
If I move the dial through the next program Cycle to 7 then it continues OK.
Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Not familiar with the machine,but I would guess that whatever "cycle 6" relates to,uses some part of the appliance that is not used on the other cycles,and you have a problem with the wiring on that particular bit.
