Installed a Sunvic TLX RFP Volt free Programmable Room Thermostat today to my Ariston Micro Genus HE28 Combi. At first all appeared good, the remote programmer was connecting to the controller and the and the thermostat was showing it had turned the heating on once the temperature/time was correct, However the rads never got warm. when checking the boiler it would appear the boiler was not opening the control valve to allow the hot water into the C/H system but H/W was available so the boiler is working
As it is a little late i have disconnected the controller from the boiler and re-connected the boilers Time Clock and re installed the wired loop which had to be replaced with the two wires from the controller hoping to get a little heat tonight however still no C/H even though all is back to how it was before installing the thermostat and controller. i have trawled the net for help but cannot seem to find anything, does anyone have any idea what could be causing the problem
