I have an ariston micro genus mffi 23 - when started from cold it works fine but, once it's heated up, the ignition will not spark a second time until it's been left for an hour or longer - which means the CH gets one cycle of heating until the thermostat cuts off the burners then nothing and the whole thing goes cool again - the boiler goes through the motions of trying to re-ignite [fan blows, vents open, gas jets go on] it's just that the electrodes fail to spark if the boiler has heated up once already

The PCB has been replaced by British Gas One-Off repair, made no difference.

Thanks

When did bg call, they do guarantee their work, so if it was not too long ago get them back.

I am a little confused here!

BG came and replaced the PCB and then left with the boiler not working?

Were they paid?
