Ariston not on and on!!

Problem is - Ariston Microcombi - fan starts - pump starts - gas valve opens - gas comes out - no spark. power to spark generator but no spark - is it a replacement spark gen or possibly something else ???
 
lead from pcb is ok - unit recieving power from pcb - have disconnected leads to chamber and bridged gap between 2 terminals with about 2mm gap - still no sparky
