I was speaking to someone who have damaged "artex" due to a leak and the insurance company wanted to check for asbestos. I said I was using asbestoes-free Artex about 25 years ago, and the house in question is only 9 yrs old. Any answers.

your right they stopped usin it around 1978 so im led to believe.
