Artificial Grass Laying on Balcony

Hi All,

I need some advice...

I live in a 4th floor flat that has a balcony which we would like to spruce up.

I would like to lay some artificial grass to make it look like a garden.

Some websites say that you need to lay boarding down and others say just to lay it and it will stay in place under it's own weight.

Can anyone off me some advice on best way to do it?

Our balcony consists of a steel frame with a deck board base. There are slight gaps between the decking down to the balcony below, but I think they are too small to worry about as it is almost like laying over complete decking.

Can anyone help?
