Astra Convertible window Sticking

I have a 2004 Astra Convertibel 1.8 which has a a problem with the driver's door window. The window is not working at all - all other windows are working and there are no other problems with the elctrics. Besides the obvious inconvenience, there is also the problem that the window should drop by an 1 inch when opening and closing the door. Seems to me like a relay problem or at least a connection with the relay. Can anyone let me know where the relay is situated or offer any other advice - wiring diagrams seem to be hard to find.

first thing to do is check the wiring that goes from the door pillar to the door. Pull back the rubber sleeve and make sure none of the wires are broken.
If you have a multimeter, check for power at the motor.
