astra coupe traction control light

i have a 2004 1.8 astra coupe, when i drive at motorway speed (60-70mph) the traction control light comes on and stays on until i turn the engine off and start it again.

does anybody know why this is happening?

most common problem is a faulty wheel speed sensor.
