any suggestions for make of plastic turf to use in a big bit of our back garden, fed up with thegrass being turned to mush with the boys playing footy on it

I have just layed a area of 40m2 in my back garden got it on ebay from grassartificial i went for 40mm layed it last week and it looks great kids and dog love it best thing i ever done 
I looked at alot before i went for this the stuff in b&q is cheap but crap

how did you lay it?
on crushed stone?
Fitted a perimiter of 4x1 tanalised timber 75mm of type 1 MOT compacted then 25mm of sharp sand compacted
