House made of cedar cladding so grooves - contractor suggests flashing of lead from side roof down to seal where roof frame abuts wall. Or screw on to batten which would be recessed means cladding cut to receive batten. High back of roof of lean to is to be fixed to a batten already there. Any comments or alternative methods please to create seal?
